Common questions.
Do I need to have a pet to use this?
No. Referencing and affordability problems affect every renter. The service is the same whether or not you have a pet, and if you do, we make sure the pet side of your application is strong too.
I'm moving to the UK from abroad. Can you help?
Yes, that's one of the most common cases we see. Without a UK credit history or UK employment, referencing can stall. We explain what agents will ask for and how to present your application so it gets through.
When should I get in touch?
As soon as you have found a property, and ideally before you pay a holding deposit. The earlier we see the application, the more we can fix.
Can you guarantee my application will be approved?
No. Referencing decisions are made independently by agents, landlords and referencing companies. What we can do is make sure your application is as strong as it can be and that nothing avoidable holds it back.
What if it doesn't work out?
If the property falls through, the Pets Lets team can help you find another one through their E-Broker Service.
Is this different from the Pet Request Clinic?
Yes. The Pet Request Clinic helps you ask for permission to keep a pet. Rental Approval is for when you have found a property and need help getting your application approved.
